This effort reimagined how retail bankers, tellers, and cross-departmental stakeholders interact with customer data—consolidating fragmented legacy tools into a unified, intuitive interface. By establishing a cohesive design system and optimized information architecture, the platform enables faster, more accurate customer service, improved operational continuity, and a scalable foundation for future innovation across Fifth Third’s enterprise ecosystem.

This effort reimagined how retail bankers, tellers, and cross-departmental stakeholders interact with customer data—consolidating fragmented legacy tools into a unified, intuitive interface. By establishing a cohesive design system and optimized information architecture, the platform enables faster, more accurate customer service, improved operational continuity, and a scalable foundation for future innovation across Fifth Third’s enterprise ecosystem.

Creative сhallenges

Address the growing fragmentation, inefficiency, and inconsistency across Fifth Third Bank’s digital and in-branch systems, which had been built over decades of siloed product development and legacy technology. Retail bankers, operations teams, and support staff were forced to navigate multiple disconnected tools to serve a single customer, increasing errors, slowing service, and degrading both employee and customer experiences.

I solved for this by challenging entrenched norms, introducing AI-driven capabilities and innovative features, and building executive buy-in to enable meaningful enterprise-wide transformation.

The redesigned interface consolidates all customer account data—from checking and savings to loans and investments—into a single, streamlined view. Associates no longer need to toggle between multiple systems or applications to locate critical information. This unified experience enhances speed, reduces errors, and delivers a more intuitive workflow for users managing clients with complex financial portfolios.
